Our main goal at Shelton-Primeaux Services is to make the companionship between your dog and your family both special and everlasting. Shelby Primeaux-Shelton, our trainer (better known as “The Dog Lady”), has experience working with many different breeds in various settings. We realize the training needs of your dog are unique. With our complementary meet and greet, The Dog Lady will design a custom training program that will address any obedience and/or behavioral goals you set for your dog. 

Our in-home training kennel allows 24/7 supervision and more personalized attention. Unlike most kennels, our kennels are on our property in a detached climate-controlled garage. We only train a small number of dogs at a time so we are able to provide as much one-on-one training as your dog needs. This prevents a one-size-fits-all approach you often find in other training programs. Oftentimes, we find the bond between family and dog could use some fine tuning. We are able to dial in and test them in real life settings. Breaking bad habits and replacing them with good ones is essential to making a long-lasting joy filled relationship.

Your dog's care and safety are our number one priority. We provide frequent walks. With supervision, dogs who are friendly and non-aggressive are socialized with other dogs. Food is provided by the owner and given within suggested timeframes to maintain dietary consistency.
